3rd XV Racks Up 51 Points as Rugby Returns!

Pride of place this week goes to the 3rd XV who racked up over 50 points in a fine home win, on what was only the second match to be played on Lower Mains Park this year!  This was a younger 3rd team than usual, with a few older heads to lead the way.

At Least One of the Reds was Playing Last Saturday!
This is the only action shot we have from last weekend, as all school and club matches were cancelled for the umpteenth time.  Maybe he didn't get on the pitch (those who know his style of play wish he had), but this young Red certainly made himself heard in the Rome crowd.

Once again, everyone's looking at the weather forecast to see if the temperatures will rise enough to let the pitches defrost.  When the NL1 fixtures came out at the start of this season, this Saturday's away match at Ellon was scheduled as our final league game.  Even if it goes ahead, the Reds still have to play 2 home and 3 away rescheduled matches to complete the league season.  See below for details and dates.

Minis Welcome Back Birkdale
Linlithgow Minis welcomed teams from Birkdale, near Sheffield, on Monday 15th for a long-standing holiday fixture.

The display of our plans in the Club House is attracting some attention, discussion and comment, which was precisely what was intended.  We would like to move on to the next stage and hold a couple of meetings to enable everyone to get a chance to debate the plans in more detail.  These are not mandating meetings, but present an opportunity to have a wider discussion on the next stage in the Club’s Development and make comments or suggestions.
